Projects we take on

One-time work, for managed IT clients and for companies that only need a project.

Network refreshes

Replacing aging switches, firewalls and Wi-Fi before they become a problem, planned to reduce disruption to your office.

Office moves and buildouts

IT for office relocations and new office setups: planning the network, phones and cabling for the new space, and moving everything over.

Wi-Fi upgrades

Better coverage, a separate guest network and fixes for dead spots.

Cabling projects

We plan and deliver cabling projects: the cable runs, the install, and connecting and testing the equipment.

Business internet

New internet and backup lines quoted, ordered and set up. See business internet.

Server and firewall replacements

Replacing old servers and firewalls, moving your data and settings over, and testing before the old gear goes away.

Cisco and Meraki installs

We handle the hardware, licensing and setup. You can see our Cisco and Meraki page for details.

Phone system installs

New phone systems and moves off old ones. See business phone systems.

Virtualization

VMware and Hyper-V setup, upgrades and moves to Azure. See virtualization.

Virtualization: VMware and Hyper-V

Many offices run their servers as virtual machines on one or two hosts. We set up, upgrade and manage VMware and Hyper-V, and we move virtual servers to Microsoft Azure when that makes more sense than buying a new host.

  • Setup: new VMware or Hyper-V hosts installed, with the virtual machines moved over and tested.
  • Upgrades: moves to newer versions of VMware or Hyper-V, planned around your business hours.
  • Host and VM management: patching, capacity checks and backups of the virtual machines.
  • Migration to Azure: virtual servers moved to Azure, or a hybrid setup with some servers kept on-site. See Microsoft Azure.

Managed IT clients get their virtualized servers managed as part of managed IT.

No managed IT contract required

A project is a project.

You don’t need a managed IT contract to hire us for a project or buy hardware. We scope the work, quote it per project, do it, and hand you the documentation. Prefer a monthly cost over buying equipment outright? See hardware as a service for PCs, servers and network gear.

If you want ongoing support afterward, that comes with managed IT. It is your call. Already have an IT person or team? We work alongside them and write down who does what.
