Business internet in Omaha

Fiber and business internet for your office, plus backup internet options when a second connection makes sense. We handle the quote and the order and coordinate the install with the carrier, then set up your firewall and network on our end. It is part of our Omaha network support.

You don’t need a managed IT contract to hire us for a project or buy hardware.

What we handle

You tell us what the office needs. We help coordinate the rest.

Fiber and business internet

Internet service options for your office, based on how your people actually work, from email and video calls to phones and cloud software.

A backup internet line

A second line that can take over when the main one goes down, helping keep your office connected.

Quotes and ordering

We get quotes through carrier partner Great Plains Communications, explain the options in plain English, and place the order. That is the same whether you are a managed IT client or hiring us for a single project.

Install coordination

We work out the install date with the carrier and keep track of it, so you are not chasing anyone.

Firewall and network setup

Once the line is in, we set up the firewall and network on our end so everything works on day one.

When the line goes down

For managed IT clients, we deal with the carrier and chase the ticket, so you are not stuck on hold.

One internet line or a backup line

Most small offices run on one internet line. That is fine until it goes down.

When your only internet line drops, email, phones and anything in the cloud usually go with it. A backup internet line can take over when the main one fails, helping your office stay connected.

Not every office needs one. We will tell you honestly whether a backup line is worth it for how you work.

Managed IT clients and project-only clients

Business internet works either way.

Part of your managed IT

If we already look after your IT, we handle the internet line along with everything else: the quote, the order, the firewall and the calls to the carrier. See managed IT.

Internet as a one-time project

You don’t need a managed IT contract to hire us for a project or buy hardware. We quote and order the line, coordinate the install and set up the firewall and network, as a project. See infrastructure projects.

How getting new internet works

From the first call to the day the line is live.

  1. 1

    Talk it through

How many people, what runs over the internet, and whether you need a backup line.

  2. 2

    Quotes

We get quotes through carrier partner Great Plains Communications and walk you through the options.

  3. 3

    Order

You pick, and we place the order with the carrier.

  4. 4

    Install coordination

We work out the install date with the carrier and keep things moving.

  5. 5

    Firewall and network

We set up the firewall and network on our end and test everything.

  6. 6

    After it is live

Ongoing support comes with managed IT. Otherwise, later changes are quoted as a project.

Your internet line carries everything else

Phones, cloud software, Microsoft 365 and AI tools all depend on a solid internet line. See business phone systems and network support.

Security starts at the firewall where the line comes in. See our cybersecurity work.

Business internet questions

Are you an internet provider?

No. We do not own internet lines, and we are not one of the Omaha internet providers. We quote, order and coordinate your service with the carrier, then set up your firewall and network.

Which carriers do you work with?

We quote business internet through carrier partners like Great Plains Communications. What is available depends on your building, and we will tell you what the real options are.

How fast will it be, and what will it cost?

That depends on your address and what is available there. We will get real quotes for your office and explain them in plain English.

Do we need a managed IT contract?

No. You don’t need a managed IT contract to hire us for a project or buy hardware. Internet can be a one-time project.

Do we really need a backup internet line?

Not every office does. If your team cannot work when the internet is down, it is worth a look. We will talk it through with you.

Will you deal with the carrier if the line goes down?

Yes. For managed IT clients, we call the carrier and chase the ticket so you do not have to.

Can you set up internet for our new office?

Yes. Internet is part of our office move and buildout projects, along with the network and phones, and we plan and deliver cabling projects.
